Composite Fillings

Even patients with the best dental hygiene habits can still develop cavities. At Fox Point Dental Studio, we offer tooth-colored fillings that will repair any damage caused by decay and restore the structure of your tooth. When your treatment is complete, you’ll leave our office with a healthy tooth and the filling will perfectly match the rest of your enamel.

Root Canal Therapy

A tooth infection can be the result of an untreated cavity or an oral injury. When the outer layers of your tooth are weakened by a cavity or cracked in an accident, the inner pulp is exposed to oral bacteria. If bacteria gets inside your tooth, this can lead to a painful infection and a root canal is the best way to treat the issue. During a root canal, our dentists will remove damaged tooth material, replace it with an inert substance, and restore the tooth with a crown.

Crowns & Bridges

If your tooth has been damaged by decay or cracked in an accident, you may need a dental crown to protect the structure from further damage. Dental crowns are custom-made dental prosthesis that fit perfectly over a damaged tooth to restore its form and function. Crowns can be used to “cap” teeth that have been cracked, chipped, or damaged by large cavities, and they can also be used to improve the appearance of a misshapen tooth.

Dentures

Fox Point Dental Studio offers both full and partial dentures to meet the restorative needs of every patient. Partial dentures attach to your healthy teeth and hold a false tooth (typically a dental crown) in place. This allows you to smile, chew, and speak normally, and avoid issues related to tooth loss.

Full arch dentures are typically only recommended for patients who have serious oral health issues, like a full arch of damaged or decayed teeth, or irreversible periodontal disease. In order to replace the upper, lower, or both arches of teeth with full arch dentures, all remaining teeth must be extracted. Once the teeth have been extracted and your gums and jaw have healed, a custom denture is made to fit perfectly over your gumline and replace all of your teeth.

I’m missing teeth. Can you help?

Yes! We offer many different restorative options for patients looking to complete their smiles after tooth loss. Our replacement options include dentures, bridges, and dental implants, and we will go over all of your options during a consultation. Our goal is to empower you to make the best choices for your dental health, so you can trust that we will offer honest advice and lasting results.

Do I need a root canal?

Signs and symptoms of an infected tooth include extreme sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures, painful chewing, and grayish discoloration. If you have a persistent toothache, this may be a sign that the inner pulp of your tooth has become infected. During a consultation, one of our dentists will assess your tooth to determine whether your decay can be addressed with a filling or if it requires treatment with a root canal.
